Voucher terms

The seller and issuer is Gut Hügle GmbH, Bottenreute 5–7, 88214 Ravensburg, Germany, phone 0751 95143996, email info@guthuegle.de.
The voucher is a value voucher for the amount you choose. You can redeem it for everything Gut Hügle GmbH offers itself: overnight stays in all our houses (Erlebnishof, OCHSEN Stockach, Möttelin, Stadthaus, Amtshaus), the restaurant and buffets, the spa, the farm shop and events. You cannot buy further vouchers with it.
How the contract comes about: you choose the amount, the design, the delivery and a greeting, and enter your details. Before you send the order you see everything in a summary and can change any detail with the back arrow. By clicking “Order with obligation to pay” you make a binding offer. We accept it by showing you the payment details straight afterwards and confirming the order by email.
You pay by bank transfer, preferably as an instant transfer, with the payment reference from the order confirmation. The amount is due immediately. If it has not reached us within 7 days of the order, the contract ends automatically and you do not have to pay anything. If the money arrives later, we will get in touch and either issue the voucher or transfer the amount back.
We send the digital voucher as a PDF to your email address once the payment has arrived, usually within a few minutes and no later than the next working day. We hand the printed voucher to Deutsche Post as a letter no later than the second working day after the payment has arrived, to addresses in Germany only; the post usually delivers letters within 1 to 3 working days. If it does not arrive, we block the code and send you a new one. Delivery by post costs €2.90.
The voucher is valid until 31 December of the third year after the year in which we issue it (example: issued in 2026, valid until 31 December 2029). The date is printed on the voucher.
Redeeming: for overnight stays, give us the code when you book or write to info@guthuegle.de. In the restaurant, the spa and the farm shop, show the voucher when you pay. The day of redemption counts, even if the stay is later. Overnight stays, tables and places at events are subject to availability, at the prices on the day of booking. You cannot use the voucher to pay for bookings you have paid for through a booking portal.
You can redeem the voucher in parts and together with other vouchers. The remainder stays on the voucher until it expires; the QR code shows the current balance. There is no payout in cash, not even for remaining amounts. Statutory claims to a refund, for example after a withdrawal, remain unaffected.
If a booking paid with the voucher is cancelled and you are entitled to a refund under the booked rate, we credit the amount back to the voucher.
The voucher can be passed on. Whoever has the code can redeem it; we may pay out to anyone who presents the code. Keep it as safe as cash. If you report a loss to us, we block the remaining value and, if you can prove the order, issue you a new voucher for it. We cannot replace amounts that were redeemed before your report.
If your payment is reversed, we block the voucher until the amount is back with us. You must pay us any amounts that were redeemed in the meantime.
As a consumer you can withdraw from the purchase in line with the withdrawal information below, including online via “Withdraw from contract”. The right of withdrawal belongs to the buyer, not to the person who receives the gift. On withdrawal we block the voucher. If it has already been partly redeemed, we keep the redeemed amount as compensation for its value and refund the rest.
These terms also apply to vouchers you buy at our reception. There is no statutory right of withdrawal there.
No VAT is charged when a value voucher is bought; it arises only when the voucher is redeemed.
The statutory rights in case of defects apply.
We store your order. You receive the order details, these terms and the withdrawal information by email with the order confirmation. Only the current version of these terms is available online. The contract language is German; this English text is a translation, and the German version is legally binding.

German law applies. If you are a consumer and usually live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of that country.

Withdrawal information for digital vouchers

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Gut Hügle GmbH, Bottenreute 5–7, 88214 Ravensburg, Germany, phone 0751 95143996, email info@guthuegle.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unambiguous statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://pay.guthuegle.de/gutschein/widerruf (link “Withdraw from contract” on every page of the voucher shop). If you use this online function, we will send you without delay, on a durable medium (e.g. by email), an acknowledgement of receipt with information on the content of the withdrawal statement and the date and time it was received.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Withdrawal information for vouchers by post

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
