This is a translation. The German version is legally binding. Zur deutschen Fassung
This statement applies to the voucher shop of Gut Hügle GmbH at pay.guthuegle.de/gutschein and the sale of spa cards at pay.guthuegle.de/spa, each with payment page, balance or card page, online withdrawal, terms and privacy notices (German Accessibility Improvement Act, section 14 and Annex 3).
The service
In the voucher shop you buy value vouchers for all services of Gut Hügle. You choose the amount, the design and the delivery (as a PDF by email or printed by post), say who the voucher is for, and place an order with obligation to pay. You pay by bank transfer. As soon as the money has arrived, the voucher comes with the invoice by email or by post. The balance is shown on the page behind the QR code on the voucher. You can withdraw from a purchase online.
You buy the spa card (visits to the spa instead of an amount) in four steps: card, delivery, a name and greeting if you like, your details. Payment, delivery and withdrawal work as with the voucher. The free visits are shown on the page behind the QR code on the card.
How the process works
- The order has five short steps: amount, design, delivery, who it is for, your details. Each step is its own view; “Continue” and “Back” as well as the back function of the browser move between the steps. Your entries are kept when you reload.
- You choose the amount from four fixed amounts or enter your own amount as a number; the slider is only an additional option.
- If something is missing, the page says in text what is missing and puts the cursor in the first field concerned.
- After the order, the payment page shows the recipient, IBAN, amount and payment reference as text you can copy, and also as a GiroCode. The same details come by email.
- The voucher and the invoice come as PDFs. All details from them (code, value, validity, invoice amount) are also in the email as text.
How the shop meets the requirements
- Perceivable: all content is real text, not in images. Text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 : 1. Images and icons have a text alternative or are marked as decoration. The pages can be enlarged and adapt to any screen width. Information never depends on colour alone.
- Operable: all functions work with the keyboard, including choosing the design (arrow keys). The focus is visibly marked. There are no time limits in the order process; the payment period is seven days.
- Understandable: short, plain language, labelled form fields, error messages with a hint on how to correct them, and a summary of all details before you send the order.
- Robust: valid, semantic HTML with headings, labels and status messages that assistive technology can read out. The pages do not load content from third-party servers.
- Checked on 28 September 2026 with automated tests (Lighthouse with axe-core) on the shop, payment page, balance page, withdrawal, terms and privacy notices, and by hand with the keyboard. Contrast defects that were found have been fixed.
The benchmark is the requirements of the ordinance to the German Accessibility Improvement Act, implemented according to the harmonised standard EN 301 549, which refers to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA for websites.
Known limitations
- The voucher and the invoice as PDFs are not tagged as accessible PDF files (PDF/UA). All details from them are also in the email and on the payment page.
- We have not yet fully tested use with screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- The cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are a voluntary extra; Apple and Google decide how they look.
- If something does not work for you: vouchers are also available at our reception and by email to info@guthuegle.de.
